Birth Chart Bonus: Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks is an icon, legend, and the queen of these Gemini musicians! Since it’s impossible to sum up her great life and career in this quick blog blurb, I’m going to keep it short and sweet and pick my favorite planet of hers.

Naturally, as a fellow Capricorn Moon, I’m drawn to her Moon conjunct her MC in the tenth house. Capricorns are the boss of the zodiac, and the tenth house represents career and public image. With this in mind, check out this quick Oprah Master Class snippet about Stevie and Lindsey Buckingham’s break up.

To a Capricorn Moon, work is important – and feelings will not get in the way. I mean, us Capricorn Moons still feel our feels – Rumours wouldn’t be such an impactful album with the drama and the feelings involved. Yet, Stevie made sure the band kept working, regardless of the Rumours.

Because her life and history is so rich, should Stevie get her own blog post with a deeper dive into her chart? If this is something you’d be interested in, then let me know in the comments below!

Gemini Musicians Born in June

  • Alanis Morissette – June 1st, 1974

Birth Chart Bonus: Alanis Morissette

I watched a lot of Alanis Morissette interviews on YouTube and one word I heard her say consistently across these videos, was “consciousness”. I find this interesting because looking at her chart, I am immediately drawn to her Mercury conjunct Saturn in Cancer in the twelfth house placements. The twelfth house is the house of the unconscious, Mercury is the planet of the mind; however, Saturn is the planet of restriction and boundaries. On top of this, her Mars is also copresent in this house, and Mars is the planet of action.

In my research, I’ve discovered that Alanis works hard to actively remain conscious of her emotions and mental health status, which she even briefly mentions in the song These are the Thoughts. Many of us have a tendency to disassociate and suppress our feelings, but with Saturn in Alanis’s twelfth house, there is an added sense of responsibility when it comes to owning and embodying her sensitive nature.

I’m sharing this video of Alanis and Dr. Ramani simply because I’ve been obsessed with Dr. Ramani’s work and her talks on narcissism. It’s a long one, but it’s chock full of great empathic insights.
