The idea for this drawing came from Cosmic Cousins Mars workshop. In the workshop, Jeff mentioned how drawing the sign and planetary glyph together could bring a whole new meaning to our natal charts. Starting with my natal Mars in Gemini, I drew the Mars glyph enclosed in the Gemini glyph. While it looks like a fun gong in the forest, to me, this drawing symbolizes Gemini’s changeable nature, as well as Mars’ desire to break the walls down.
In order to use this 2021 Mars in Gemini transit to break through, we must first change the barrier we are trapped in. We don’t always have to break through like a warrior would; with Gemini – we can slightly change our environment by balancing the dark, with light and joy.
Cherry Blossom Symbolism:
The flowers in this Mars in Gemini image were inspired by cherry blossoms. Although they rarely make it to Gemini season, in northern parts of Japan, cherry blossoms can survive into late May. Typically cherry blossoms pop up at the start of spring and have a short life of about two weeks. During their short life span, the flowers vibrant pink color breaks through the mundane and makes a major impact on everyone who has the pleasure of viewing them. Sounds a lot like Gemini Mars, right? They show up real quick, make an impact, and go out with a bang!

Capricorn Rising – Sixth House Gemini Mars Transit
Break out the skateboard and hit the board walk. I’m a Cap rising and can’t skateboard, nor do I live near a boardwalk. So I’m not going to take my own advice here, but I am going to get back outside as much as possible. It’s time to break out of our winter slumps and get active again. Even further, it’s time to experiment with new work out routines. I realize, the pandemic isn’t over and gyms are expensive. Did you know it cost $60 to cancel a Club Fitness membership and you have to physically go in to cancel? In a pandemic! (I’m not salty…you are!!)

How can you break through the trendy inspirational stories and show up authentically? There is no need to be perfect. Perfect is boring, so just be yourself.

Personally, boundaries are complicating for me because I know I need to set more and stick to them, but I also aspire to be like those badass people who push the boundaries.

The twelfth house represents institutions and jails. If you’re in jail – it’s time to break out! lol just kidding, just kidding. This is also the house of imagination, so I don’t necessarily mean literal jail. Many of us feel trapped or stuck at some point of our lives, in some way. Maybe it’s a job you’re stuck in, or a house (hello Coronavirus).
It’s time to break through this stuck feeling, Cancer. It’s time to party! And I don’t mean party with a large group at mask-less bars in Florida. I mean mentally breakthrough your funk and celebrate where you’re at. Allow yourself to imagine a world of fun and happiness. This imaginary world is not out of reach. It can exist if you let it.
