Johnny Cash is obviously a legend. He’s one of those artists my family would play on repeat. In fact, Ring of Fire was my dad’s go to karaoke song. I vividly remember sitting around the campfire singing it with him, even though my voice couldn’t get as low as his.

One of my favorite Johnny Cash songs is One Piece at a Time. This line, “Gonna ride around in style. Gonna drive everybody wild” has me looking at Johnny’s MC in Sagittarius in his tenth house. Although Johnny didn’t write this song, he performed it well for a reason. Johnny was able to connect to the lyrics because of his challenges with growing up and working in the cotton fields of Arkansas. In the whole sign house system, all Pisces risings have Sagittarius in the tenth house. With this in mind, the tenth house is the house of career and public image, and Sagittarius is a zodiac sign associated with adventure and thrill seeking. Many Pisces rising musicians want to achieve a life of excitement, so working day after day in a monotonous cotton field was not ideal for hm.

Alright, I gotta start with this tiny desk concert video. It has 8.8 million views and I think I’ve contribute to a good portion of these. Just kidding, but really, I’ve watched this video several times and I’m ashamed to say, I wasn’t a Stromae fan until I saw this. Now I’m a mega fan. There’s something to love about his voice, paired with his free floating dance moves. Not to mention his attitude and ability to celebrate human nature – it’s a beautiful performance.

To expand on what I said about his ability to celebrate others, this makes me think of his seventh and eleventh houses. As a Gemini rising, Stromae has fire in these houses. His seventh house of relationships is in Sagittarius, while his eleventh house of networks is in Aries. Fire brings passion and expression. With the Moon, and Uranus in Sagittarius in the seventh, we can see Stromae’s playful ability to nurture his band mates and the crowd watching them. With Mercury, Venus, and Mars in Aries we can see Stromae communicate his love and affection for everyone surrounding him, even the people off camera that no one can see. Aries is an independent sign, yet Stromae takes the time to acknowledge how these people have contributed to his success story.
