Right now the waxing gibbous moon is in Libra. Libra is associated with balance – we all pretty much know this, but some negative themes associated with Libra are indecisiveness and hypocrisy.

Libra Moon Feelings

With this Libra moon during the current pandemic, I am feeling extremely hypocritical and indecisive. I told myself (and those closest to me) that I would not see anyone. I told them that I would go to the store and no where else! I said I wouldn’t see my parents so I wouldn’t put them and myself at risk. I said “it’s bigger than myself or my family catching it, we could have it and pass it around to other people when we go to the stores and keep this shit spreading around.”

But guess what? I went to my moms yesterday. I said, “I’m just going to stay outside.” But she told me I could come in and I didn’t hesitate. I had to pee and I wanted to hang out for a bit so I came on in!

I thought, why should I sit here and avoid my parents? We could all die tomorrow and if I spent months avoiding them before they died, I would be devastated; but, if I spread the virus to them and it put them in the hospital, I would hate myself. So what is best?

What is the Solution??

Libra moon says there is no solution. There is no right, there is no wrong. Someone will be unhappy and think you are a hypocrite no matter what you do, because you are. The mind is an amazing thing. It thinks one thing one day and a totally different thing the next day.

As long as you are respecting their wishes, and staying clean – I think you should go see your loved ones. I also think you should stay home, if that is what you feel like you need to do.

Let Me Tell You What I Think We Shouldn’t Do:

We shouldn’t be ignorant and hate on people for doing what they are doing; we shouldn’t stand close to people while not wearing a mask in public, we shouldn’t throw our gloves down in the parking lot.

These are my thoughts. You are going to do what you are going to do and that is OK.

Respect those around you; respect that maybe they changed their minds and decided to see their loved ones; respect that they are trying to stay at least 6ft away from you when you talk to them; respect the earth and keep shit clean. It’s not hard to love and respect each other, I promise.

As much as Libra is hypocritical and indecisive; Libra is diplomatic, fair, and mutual. Let’s tap into those energies during this Libra moon. Let’s be there to lift each other up during these hard times. Let’s believe in each other. Don’t judge, just be!
