Libra Season 2020: Balance and Diplomatic Equality

This 2020 Libra season, we are focusing on balance and diplomatic equality. Under America’s current political climate, Libra energy is needed now more than ever. We all have the ability to channel this energy and work together to bring healing to our systems, structures, and humanity in general.

The Virgo to Libra Season Transition

Diplomatic means – “of, relating to, or concerned with the art and practice of conducting negotiations between nations.”

Diplomats are the balance bringers. They are meant to bring opposing sides together and moderate with the ultimate goal of restoring order. Think about how Libra evolves through Virgo. Virgo is the zodiac sign associated with organization and order, but Virgo is not the best at bringing people together. Virgo can have obsessive tendencies and focus too much on the end goal and not enough on nourishing relationships along the way. On the other hand, as the sign of partnerships and harmony, Libra brings everyone together to hash it out, get creative, and solve problems in a way that works for everyone.

Libra’s, we need your energy now more than ever. In order to achieve a balanced 2020 Libra season, we have to combat the mass amounts of misinformation being shared.

Imagination Break

Imagine the world as a giant scale. What would the world be like if everyone believed what you believed and didn’t challenge you? The scale would be unbalanced, right? Boring.

Libra Season 2020: Why Finding Balance and Diplomatic Equality is Important

Although there’s currently no society that works perfectly for everyone, we still have to imagine a better, more equal society. And that means EVERYONE. Including the oppressive humans, bringing everyone down. While it’s important to stand up for what we believe in and fight for equality, we also have to remember that we are all humans. What I need is different from what you need, and so on.

We need to remember that we are fighting for just that, equality. We aren’t fighting for dominance over the other political side. Nor a world where poor people stay poor and rich people stay rich. Balance is what we’re looking for.

For a balanced 2020 Libra season, try listening to the other political side, and give them a chance to explain themselves. Seek to understand the deep roots of where their opinion is coming from. Also understand that even if you don’t agree, they are human just like you are. If you take the time to listen and they don’t listen back, don’t give up. Bring in a third party to moderate the conversation or if you have to, completely revisit the conversation at a later date. Don’t go into the conversation looking to dominate and control the other side; but also, don’t let them walk all over you and manipulate you. Balance. Together you can both bring your unique perspectives to the table and come up with even better solutions than you had before.

I know you want to bring balance to society and help those in need, but you can’t help them until you help yourself. Right now you are mentally, physically, emotionally drained, yet you’re mad at yourself for not giving enough back to the world. You may feel like every time you speak, you are misunderstood. Maybe it felt like everything you knew about politics was clear, and then as more information was presented to you, you felt uneducated and helpless. Remember, you will never know it all; you will never be it all, to all people. But you can know enough and trust that what you’re experiencing is leading you down the right path. Helping yourself heal at this time is important. To restore balance on a larger scale, you must first restore balance within yourself.

Summary

The key to a balanced 2020 Libra season is in diplomacy. It’s up to us to work through the arguments and try to find the common thread between us and our peers. I know it feels like an opposite opinion is a threat to your lively hood, but it’s actually not. Everyone has a unique experience, and you don’t have to fully understand it, but you can let it exist without dehumanizing them.
